Engr. Tijani started his secondary at Ochaja Boys Secondary School, Ochaja from where he gained admission to Benue Polytechnic,Ugbokolo for National Diploma and Kaduna Polytechnic for Higher National Diploma in Engineering.

He had his National Youth Service at 31, Field Artilary Brigade Minna in 1991-1992. He worked at Yaman (Nig) LTD as a maintenance officer 1994-1996, Dogab Venture LTD as a Field Officer, Marketing 1996-1998. He joined the service of National Electric Power {Ijora Power) as a ( Mech) 2001-2007 before he was transferred to Olorunsogo Power Plc as a Senior Manager.

Eng. Tijani had various Training in Management. He is a member, Nigerian Association of Technologists in Engineering and a Senior Member, Chartered Institute of Public Management. He has held various strategic positions in the Industry and is presently the General Manager, Olorunsogo Power Plc.
